True Padel Sunderland opened on 21 January and has quickly established itself as one of the North East’s leading padel destinations.
The venue currently features five doubles courts and two innovative singles court, the first singles courts of their kind in the region alongside top-tier facilities including an indoor heated sports lounge, café and social spaces designed for players to relax and connect.
Sunderland hosts daily mix-in sessions, competitive tournaments and structured leagues creating a vibrant, welcoming padel community for players of all abilities — from first-timers to seasoned competitors.
Looking ahead, True Padel Sunderland is set for a major expansion, growing from 7 to 11 courts. Once complete, the club will feature 7 doubles courts and 4 singles courts, making it one of the largest indoor padel venues in the UK and further strengthening our commitment to delivering exceptional facilities and community-led sport.
